Events We Have Hosted

  • Travis & Amy's Rehearsal Dinner

After recently moving to Charleston, Travis and Amy decided to entertain their out of town attendants at their rehearsal dinner by allowing them to experience a unique venue and see Charleston from the water. They gave their guests a taste of Charleston by serving a Lowcountry style menu consisting of BBQ, baked beans, corn bread and rice and offering a beer and wine bar. The DJ created an epic evening of dancing to great music. Travis and Amy gave their guests a memorable prelude to their wedding for an approximate cost of $9,500.
  • Sean & Melissa's Wedding Celebration

Wanting to stay within a certain budget, Sean and Melissa were able to do exactly that and still create a memorable wedding day inviting all of their closest friends and family to join together in a celebration on the Carolina Girl. They opted to have a mid-afternoon wedding treating their guests to passed appetizers and light hors d’oeuvres. Without having to pay the expense of a band, they were able to have incredible music by a professional DJ, using the Carolina Girl’s new mixing sound system. Planning a wedding in one of Charleston's premier waterfront venues, Sean and Melissa came up with creative alternatives to save dollars for an approximate cost of $9,100.
  • Corporate Cruise

In town for a conference, an insurance group based out of North Carolina planned an off-site event for their executives. Wanting it to be a causal event where their guests could come and go as they wanted, they chose to have their event dockside overlooking the Ashley River. Hosting a getaway event from their conference, this company provided a casual and relaxed atmosphere for an approximate cost of $9,200.
  • Jacob & Elizabeth's
    Destination Wedding

After having met in St. Martin where they both currently reside, Elizabeth and Jacob wanted to give their guests a reason to visit historic Charleston, Elizabeth’s native hometown where they decided to tie the knot. They treated their guests to first class transportation by flying them in on their private jets and bringing them to the marina on trolleys from their downtown hotel. Mint Juleps awaited them to begin their stroll down the dock as an a cappella group showcasing Gullah style music welcomed guests onto the Carolina Girl. Elizabeth hired a designer to put his expert touches on décor throughout the boat with linens, votives and floral arrangements. Elizabeth and Jacob treated their guests to a priceless first-class event for an approximate cost of $?...we just don’t know.
